I have had a 1 bedroom suite appear the day before arrival after booking a Royal Park Exec originally. The stay was about a month ago. Hope that helps. Staying again this weekend and will be interested to see what happens this time.

I just renewed RA automatically as well so not sure if my frequent stays affect my RA profile and therefore some how prioritise who gets what upgrades. A bit like the scoring system of some airlines.
