Ideally within walking distance. I'll be coming off a grueling travel period and don't want to have to be hassled at my hotel, so I definitely need someplace fitting the parameters of this forum!

My assistant has found a nearby boutique hotel called the Amalfi which seems to do ok in TripAdvisor, but I have never heard of it.

Any thoughts on this or other nearby hotels? I notice that the a few luxury hotels are on E Chicago, but that's just a bit too far away to walk in the summer heat wearing a suit.

Edited to clarify location a bit more: That's roughly just south of the Chicago river, downtown, inside the loop.
