What happened in Italy? And what happened in Israel where all the Radisson/SAS' disappeared?

Is it that the hotels where not owned by SAS? Was it a franchise that expired?

Doesn't SAS own Radisson/SAS and naming rights for Radisson in Europe and some other places? I know they have sold some properties because they perfer not to own real estate.

I'm wondering how whole groups of hotels just 'vanish' from the chain.
