Have you seen all these things on Gol with your own eyes? I only once flew Gol (against 67x TAM) and have not seen anything strange. Only a very strict enforcement of carry-on rules. And I brought no snakes...
I have been using e-tickets on TAM for the last two years or more. Now, I book in Brazil as a resident, so that may be the explanation.
