In Bariloche, having a car is a plus... whether you will want to drive or get one with a driver is a budget issue.
In Salta, if you are wine folks there are many great wineries. If not, there are still plenty of very beautiful sites in Cafayate and also the Calchaqui Valleys, plus there are a good number of historical sites to see.
