If you have a charity you work with or have familiarity with, you might want to go to them and see if you can help out in some way. I had a situation a little while back when a animal shelter I was working with was looking at attending a conference, but didn't have any money to do it. They didn't really push it, but I could have redeemed award tickets and hotel nights to get them to the event if they really wanted. That may be something else you can do with the excess points.

I used a whole bunch of extra miles I had to put together a family vacation event and got award tickets for everyone to fly in.

I don't know if this would work for your company, but you may also be able to use them to book one of your business trips and get the company to just give you the equivalent amount as an expense reimbursement. That doesn't work with a lot of companies, but that may be another way for you to consume the miles and make some money in the process.
