Upon arrival into HKG, I received the usual transit card and Qantas sticker on my shirt. We used gate 15, which is the first gate on the wing below the Qantas Club lounge. So it was a short walk to the E1 transfer area where boarding pass is checked and security screening. I was then directed to take the lift up to level 7 for the Qantas lounge. Well I know better than to follow that suggestion and instead of turning left out of the lift I went right and walked over to The Wing Cathay Pacific FLounge, where my QF boarding pass was swiped and I was welcomed to the FLounge.

First stop was the dining area for some Chinese Dim Sum for breakfast. Much nicer breakfast that I was going to get on board QF, even in First. Then to the Cabanas for a shower, shave etc. With all that done, it was time to head back to gate 15 for boarding my next leg to London.
