As of today just 1 seat in row 2 left.

F is always better. On a transcon, F will get a decent meal and free-flowing wine and spirits, not to mention a much wider seat and generous recline. So what if you get somewhat less legroom.
Well, it's a 6 AM flight so I'm just not likely to be that thirsty (though I do agree that dinner and drinks can compensate for lost leg room on a dinnertime flight).

I've sat in 1A on a TED flight and in 1F on a 752. I found both miserable due to my long legs. I've never been in row 1 in Airbus F. Given the considerations offered above, I think I'll just stay in 6F and hope my 500 milers actually convert to miles.

Thanks.
