Good call there I reckon.... too bad... If they had a QF C fare at that price it would be verra tempting....

And having reread my post - ACK! APOLOGIES! - It came off sounding nasty which was NOT my intent at all...

I just feel that fare comparisons should only be done "like with like".. so, fr'instance... one shouldn't compare fares from airlines with "traditional" biz class seating with those offering "lie flat" beds.....

After all, some airlines apparently have international "Business Class" with seat pitch in the 40-45" range... (and that is not counting those like Jetstar/Silk Air etc).... If those fares are cheaper it shouldn't be any kind of surprise...

Just as it is logical that NZ's AKL-HNL fare is lower than it's true "BP" flights...

Perhaps we need a "Seat type category" listing.... (Oranges on this list.. apples on that one.... ) Although I imagine that information is known at instinctive level by many FT'ers!
