Not sure if I would want to take a risk on booking opening night, especially if it's a special occasion. I recently spent a week in Macau, with a couple nights each at the MO, Westin, and Wynn, and the latter would definitely not be my favorite. So Las Vegas. The MO is showing its age, and the Sands totally killed the "Resort View," but I was very happy with the club floor, as well as the pool/spa. I'll check out the Venetian in late September (would appreciate a trip report if you end up going), and the Grand Lisboa sounds enticing as well.
