Question Venetian Macao -- would you stay on opening night?
The Venetian Macao's website is now taking bookings starting Sept. 2nd 2007, with surprisingly reasonable prices (suites from MOP ~1600, or US$200) and conveniently close to a big birthday I have coming up.

Two questions --

1) Is it worth risking? The opening has been delayed time and time again, and they were earlier taking bookings from Aug 1st. (Are they still soft-launching it before Sept?)

2) Any guesses as to whether the hotel will really be complete, or will the first days be service warts and drilling noises galore?

The alternative would be to fork out nearly twice the price for the Wynn...
