Not quite the same, but I carry an EpiPen or two when I travel. Pre liquids I just carried it in my purse with everything else, it was never flagged. Post liquids, I've just stuck it in my baggie. No issues in the US, it was flagged and questioned in CDG on my way back to the US. I had to show my prescription.
