Swissair Assets From Wine Glasses To Ski Suits Go On Sale
Nostalgic ex-employees, air transport enthusiasts, bargain hunters and the plain curious waited for hours in the rain to buy a piece of Switzerland's collapsed national airline.
The items on sale ranged from CHF1 safety instruction cards to silver-plated champagne buckets for a cool CHF190.
Swissair Group, which owned Swissair, is being overseen by an administrator appointed in the wake of the airline's failure a year ago, when it succumbed to a debt of CHF13 billion.
