So, I think I've narrowed it down to two choices:
1) National Express Bus from Heathrow to Cambridge. Depending on the bus I get, it takes anywhere from 2:20 to 2:50.
2) Tube to Kings Cross and then train to Cambridge. According to Journey Planner this would take about 2 hours. However, it also has me arriving (by tube) at Kings Cross at the same moment that I am supposed to be leaving Kings Cross by train. Somehow, I don't think so.
I've done both. None of the two options is really appealing. On the way back, the National Express coach took 3:30 ... But the tube/train or HEX/tube/train combinations also take a long time and involve tiresome connections. Any shuttle or mini-cab option ?
