I too thought about doing that trip to Honolulu to see U2 last December...but alas no dice. The furthest I've gone is from Santa Barbara to Oakland to see U2...on the Greyhound...ick

I would buy nosebleeds too and maybe find a cheap place to stay and hopefully find tickets to see a show or two while getting a chance to see the city. EWR would be a logical choice due to the proximity to the venue but are LGA and JFK plausible too?
