What would you have done?
I would have done it because I LIKE the BULKHEAD in a 757, but I prefer the aisle. Although I think very little of first on a 757. I prefer to sit in an exit row with an empty middle. I only want the upgrade if I want food or I know the center seat will be full.

I have refused to trade away 1C on a CRJ-200. The couple was going on their honeymoon, but I dislike the seats on a CRJ-200 and I find the aisle in rows 1 and 8 barely acceptable and am not going to trade to something worse. They did not ask the person further back to trade to row 1. They wanted to move, but only if they could get the better row.

I don't know what the big deal is about sitting together. Everyone in my family wants an aisle seat. We all sit apart so we can all have an aisle seat. We'll have enough time together once we get where we are going.
