Still; I'm wondering if anyone knows a link in which the MPM (Maximum Permitted Mileage) rule for booking normal (paid) tickets is explained. I can imagine that flying YUL - SFO via ORD would be permitted, but YUL - SFO via ANC will be denied. But based on what rules? There must be some kind of table containing the maximum mileage permitted between destinations. Or is this information available to travel agents only?
