I just saw they are planning on joining in December 2007. So if I want *A points (OZ for me) I have to fly United.

Is flying JFK to PEK on United in Coach really bad? I knew someone that had a nightmare flight to Japan in Coach. I know it wont be as nice as OZ (Asiana).

I wonder if *A silver will get me anything flying united...
