Which runway was the aircraft approaching?
The longer northern runway (08L/26R 9,918 ft) is currently closed for renovation. I noticed that last week, as we landed on the southern runway (08R/26L 7,953 ft) that is usually not used for landings.
I don't know though if the length of the runway matters for abortion of landing due to tailwinds.
