Not to mention that the incident took place aboard a Canadian flag carrier with head office in YUL....but that would be getting a little too deep into arcane issues of international law more suited to a third year law class .
I'll defer to someone who has legal expertise, but a requirement to attend to anyone in need of medical attention, anywhere in the world, by virtue of membership in the QCP and being aboard a flag carrier, strikes me as an extraordinary and unreasonable burden of care.
