I don't work in the financial industry, so I'm not really sure what the implications are from being delisted. I have purchased and continue to make monthly purchases of the BA ADR through their holding company in the US. Apparantly they will be sold over the counter, but again, I'm not really sure what this means.

What does this mean to existing shareholders who live in the US? I'm certain that our ownership is still valid, but will people in the US continue to be able to purchase ADRs for BA? I'd like to keep investing in BA, as I see the company as a solid performer and a good investment. I'll also admit that there is a little bit of brand loyalty that makes me want to maintain a little piece of the BA pie (even if it is only in ADR form).

If this has been covered before, I apologise for starting a new thread.
This may be due to the rigours of a US listing (e.g. SARBOX requirements etc). Many companies are delisting from the US and re-listing, or concentrating their listing on the LON Market. There may be no more sinister purpose than this.
