Jon, you will have to put the car seat in the middle of a row of three on the 767 only if the car seat is rear-facing or so large (as most are) that it juts out past the edge of the airplane seat on which it sits. If sitting along the side, the car seat would have to be placed at the window only if it obstructs the seat aisle. Occasionally, front-facing car seats are small enough that they do not block access to the aisle. In this case, they may be placed in any non-exit row seat on any of our narrowbody or widebody aircraft -- window, middle, or aisle. (Some bulkhead seats with non-retractable armrests, however, are too tight a squeeze to permit the use of car seats. Beware!) Sorry-- I am not familiar with car seat restrictions on the CRJ700 and other Express aircraft.
