Save connect time? BUF-BOS-KEF-CPH
I'm planning a trip to Copenhagen using US Airways to Boston and Icelandair to Copenhagen. The trip will be in early August. (I'm using Icelandair because I will stopover in Iceland on the return.)
I'm concerned about connect times. There is a legal itinerary with a 1 hr 20 min connect time in Boston and 1 hr 10 min in Reykjavik, both of which seem dangerously short to me.
Alternatively, I can leave Buffalo two hours earlier and have a 3 hr 20 min connect time in Boston.
Also, I can take a later flight out of Reykjavik and have a 3 hr 10 min layover in Reykajvik.
I'm in no hurry and my inclination is to play it safe and take the longer connect times in both Boston and Reykjavik. I'd appreciate your thoughts.
Thanks,
Alan Duchan
