In the lounge, my belief is that the food is ok. Neither bad, nor great. Qantas could improve!.

For flights it's a different matter. The snacks are ok, except for certain flights (eg MEL-BNE 5:05pm-7:10pm. Snack only).

Surely that deserves a meal?
