*S Privileges

After I started the *S thread Kiwi Flyer worked out an "collecting scheme" for *S benefits and I've changed a few things and will post it now. I would appreciate your help regarding "inofficial benefits".

It may be of use to have in one place the qualification requirements and benefits of *S. There are general *S benefits and some airlines/FFPs additionally offer extra benefits to their own *S and maybe inofficial upgrades, seat blockings, luggage and lounge access or anything else.

General *S benefits

By *A airline (ie carrier)
- *S name
- (re)qualification requirement

Qualification requires 35,000 status miles in calendar year. Requalify in either of 2 following calendar years.

BMI Diamond Club

*S = 19k ( 3k for bmi+ and 16k to bmi *S)

Qualification requires 16k

Extra benefits to own *S:
• access to our exclusive diamond club and business lounges when travelling on a bmi flight, lounge access is not available when travelling on a tiny fare.
• access to other executive lounges overseas when travelling on a bmi flight, lounge access is not available when travelling on a tiny fare.
• extra 25% destinations miles bonus each month (bonus is calculated on the base miles for the route flown)

Qualification requires 20k

Priority on waiting list
• SAS Hot Line 24-hour service at +45 32 32 68 00.

• Easier check-in with Scandinavian Airlines* & other airline partners.
• Business check-in, regardless of booked class**.
• 10 kg extra checked baggage on Scandinavian Airlines operated flights (except to/from US/Latin America).
• Silver members are allowed to use Air One's check-in counters dedicated for Frequent Flyer Members* Scandinavian Airlines, Blue1 and Widerψe.
