None of the lounges at NAIA are that great. The CX lounge has a separate first class section to the left of business class section after reception, but it's basic and often you have to go back to the J side to get some of the basics on offer. The CX lounge is on the same "finger" as their flights come in. These days the xray screening is after immigration, so moving about the airport is easier.

CX lounge doesn't have its own bathrooms (SQ does have a M and F bathroom and QF/BA has one bathroom).

I have not used the PAGCOR lounge although I also have a priority pass card (courtesy of AX).

Allow lots of time to get to the airport, even though it's close to the city. It really depends on time of day, especially traffic, weather, security, etc. They recommend 3 hours ahead. You mast show passport and ticket to enter the terminal, then go thru xray to get further in, then check in, then go to pay departure tax P750 now I think (was 550 in late Jan), then immigration, then xray. MNL doesn't allow any liquids in had luggage, although they are inconsistent, as they are with shoes and belts off.

Mostly at the gate you will have further bag checks and magic wanding.
