United Airlines gave us a bottle of champagne on our honeymoon flight to Hawaii 22 years ago. We didn't mention we were honeymooners; I think the shiny rings and fresh manicure and Sunday morning itin JFK-SFO-HNL gave it away. They also gave bottles to several other couples on our flight.

It was the first, AND LAST, nice thing United has ever done for either of us.
