I waited for an "A" class to open up. And last night, when I tried to book online, it showed it was full so I had to keep the seat I was given. When I checked in, I asked for my seat and it was given to me. The first class cabin had FIVE people in it, and C class was also half empty.

So my recommendation is, if you want to go this route. Find any "C" class seat and then show up to the airport the day of departure and say you need to get home to BKK. It all depends on if you want to risk it. I would.

Because if you go with a confirmed economy, you are going to have a tough time to get your C Class seat.
