There are 4 days of racing
Derby Day Sat 3 November (80,000 to 100,000 or more will attend)
Cup Day Tue 6 November (100,000 to 120,000 or more will attend)
Oaks Day Thur 8 November (100,000 more will attend)
Stakes Day Sat 10 November (50,000 will attend)

Cup Day is a pubilc holiday in Melbourne. Oaks Day is not a pubilc holiday in Melbourne, but 100,000 people will still show up (including me)

Reserved seats in the grandstands for the 3 main days go on sale on a Wednesday 1st August at 9:00 am. By 11:00am they are sold. Prices are here
