That was on the other side of the airport, at "Stadlerberg", while the DC 9 was approaching RWY 14. Due to the new treaty with Germany, planes are not allowed to approach that runway after 10pm anymore.
A Crossair pilot said that RWY 28, where the Avro RJ crashed, was not equipped with ILS.
