I used the E61 on Softbank in Tokyo (which I think is Japan still
) just two weeks ago, having punched in the numbers with +81....and it worked just dandy.
Notice that if the org. number is 090 XXX...., you want to punch +81 90 XXX...., i.e. loose the heading zero.
