As a Premier HSBC customer I get terrific service. I am not so sure that I would be as happy with the bank if I were not one. In addition, if you can become an international premier banking customer you will be VERY pleased with the customer service in HK. Apply for this in the US. They are very careful with applicants to make sure that they are not laundering money or funding terrorists, but once that hurdle has been overcome, the benefits are well worth the hassle of the application
