Rudi: despite of the recent relatively good news, I approached US Airways and they rebooked me FC to SFO via PIT 7OCT out and 9 OCT back (of cours a couple of hours added to the overall travel time). I would have loved to fly SR, but felt I had to switch, because there will be a considerable amount of pax laft behind during recent days and prioritywise our award tickets will be close to nothing. I will report whether US honors the tix and how they perform. Their Call ctr staff was VERY helpful (exceded even LH SEN svc.) and understanding. All the best.
