The co-brand bonus on your statement also represents your overseas spending, as you earn double points on non-HK spending if you have a Platinum Preferred Select card.
For example, just say in a month, you have $1000 HK spending and $1000 overseas spending. At the bottom of your Citibank statement, you would see "Bonus Points Earned = 1000" and "Extra Bonus Points Earned = 2000". On your Asia Miles account, you would see "Citibank Cobrand = 125 (1000/8)" and "Citibank Cobrand Bonus = 250 (2000/8)"
What I don't understand is that sometimes the "Citibank Co Brand Bonus" is broken into 2 amounts. The total amount is always correct - but not sure why the system breaks it into 2 amounts.
