I am currently looking at booking a room for Vancouver Marriott and I found that there is a cheap rate at a TA website than the Marriott website. My question is if I submit a "Best Rate Guarantee" claim and get the 25% discount, would I still be able to earn MR points and have the nights counted towards Elite status?
