I always bring a pair of white sneaker type socks to wear on the plane. They are very thick so I don't think any leakage can seep through from the bathroom floor.
I'd recommend black socks. White socks look dirty 30 seconds after you put them on with all the dirt on the floor that came off all these shoes.
It's hard not to comment on the leakage not seeping through but I'm holding my breath
