I must say I am extremely disappointed with SPG. I am Marriott Platinum and I was 'pursuaded' to try out the Westin and now somehow my stays are just not posting nor am I getting any points. The stay shows up in my activity but the total number of stays for the year still doesnt reflect that.
A call to the spg helpline says that a call was logged to some program services group and they should take care of it in 7 days. Hell!! MR credits me missing points the same day and it shows up in my account the next day.
I am just very disappointed.
Just keep all your paper work-SPG customer service is head and shoulders above MR's IMO.
