As far as I understand it, after an initial complaint, the 'Genèveois' are quite happy not to have the same noise problems as ZRH. Nevertheless, I could imagine that some airlines (eg DL,TG) would fly to GVA instead of Zurich somewhen in the future. There seems however not to be any market for addidtional GVA-US flights since the last airline trying that, Swiss World, did only operate for about a year.
