Thanx guys for the quick and profound answers. I lived in Japan for 7 years before in the 1990´s. At the time I was a mere FrequentFlyer with LH as I wasn´t a *Alliance only customer. The chance for an upgrade was about 50%(mainly from biz to first). Unfortunately LH is now using a two class A340-600 for my new home base OSAKA, so not much chance for any upgrades. But I hope to relocate to Tokyo in December. Thanx again !
