Yes, as with the poster above, I too have had people dropping me off join me in the lobby area prior to security. There are nice couches and someone will come to take your and your guests drink requests, no extra cost for the guests. It was a very pleasant experience. The Lufthansa staff were very welcoming and accommodating to me and my guests.
