Do people thing Jetstar's Star Class is equal to business class? A friend of mine works for the government and had to go to Osaka. As more than 8 hours he is entitled to go business class. The travel agent put him on Jetstar both ways. What do people think - does this cut the mustard as business class?

The reason I ask is it appears the wrath of Jetstar International is growing per an article today on SMH - places under consideration include Beirut, Athens among others - all places I go to for work - currently SQ or EK.

I think a good variable in the Jetstar financial projection for new destinations would be the number of premium J class pax they would get (VERY reluctantly) who currently fly other airlines, rather than rely on the cheap internet stuff.

Could be a very worrying trend for some of us!!! Just as I was getting excited as I no longer have to continually explain why GF is 100% unsuitable :-)
