It's not enough. I suppose Continental just don't know the layout of CDG (though AF, who do, still sell unreasonable 'legal' connections which only create trouble for themselves and stress for the passenger when they are missed). Very many flights at Terminal 2 have remote stands with bus transportation to the gate, and 2F and 2A are about as far apart from each other as it is possible to get in that terminal. Queues for passport and security are long for transatlantic flights. You need at least 90 minutes connection time at CDG if you don't want to rush. Two hours is even safer.
If Continental will let you change to the later departure, then I should do it, just for your own piece of mind.
