OK, then given the ALPA merger policy BoeingBoy posted, what factors should be considered when merging seniority under that policy?

And was the "Cry me a river" directed at me? I am not complaining about anything, only trying to explain how the merger policy applied in this real life situation. I have no problem with the award.



US East seniority isn't worth half of what the same seniority is on almost any other airline. That's reality, and the pilots can't change it without starting over at the bottom of the list elsewhere.
Um, yes, that is my point. Did you understand what I was saying? Do you see we might be saying basically the same thing, and that the East pilots are being a bit ridiculous about the whole thing? Or are you just on some angry reflexive anti-pilot kick, and so somehow assumed I was defending the East pilots' position?
