I have never had a problem with it. I average three or four times a year, needing to do a force, for whatever reason. Once I even talked them out of rack rate, but that was at a hotel I stay at a lot, so it was by calling the GM, not DD. Also sometimes a hotel lists as sold out, but has a lot of open rooms. They want to be pulled off the online reservations and make all of them for a busy weekend, like a race or convention.
