I'm zero for three on the Diamond "guarantee". Turned down in Augusta, GA about three weeks before the Masters at Hampton, and twice in Wilmington, NC now. From what I'm reading hotels can pretty much declare any dates as extraordinary demand. Could a property opt-out of the whole program by declaring January 1 through December 31 as extraordinary demand dates?
