Imports have devastated the American textile manufacturing base. I made more money 10 years ago too, am I entitled to more because my company is still in business? Am I entitled to more because someone, somewhere doing the same job as me is making more? And this seniority spat, for God's sake, your union agreed to binding arbitration, you don't get to worm out of it just because you didn't get everything you want...it isn't US's fault, it is YOURS! What a bunch of spoiled children....If US is so unfair to you, leave. Go get what you deserve at another airline, or in another career.
HERE HERE!!!!
have the pilots forgotten that if not for thier white knight (America West), none of them would have jobs? and believe you me, NOBODY at HP wanted to be a part of the disaster that was/is US.
the pilots should be on their knees giving thanks to the guys at the "sand castle" for saving their a$$es.
I do agree that once US is consistently profitable, they should give back to ALL (HP and US) employees in return for what they gave their respective companies, but seniority....HAH!
1) you agreed to the arbitration. if you dont like it, b!tch to your union
2) you should be lower than HP pilots. you wouldnt even exist if it wasnt for them. why dont you see what some of the former unemployed TWA employees have to say about the AA merger?
