Previous threads have described the difficulty NW elites have had getting full Y fares automatically upgraded to F after purchase. Now, whenever you buy a ticket on continental.com it gives you a screen with a check-box next to each Y fare segment. You just check the box next to the ones you want to automatically upgrade (why wouldn't you?) and you're automatically given a seat in F before the purchase is even complete.

A very welcome enhancement.
