Nope, it was 2003-04 I think, in one of the small basement supermarkets in Maadi Digla - I forget the road number. Carrefour opened when I was there but no idea that Sainbury's had an operation there? Used to be (and probably still is) a lovely little cafe in Digla that did proper fry ups as well, with real bacon and sausages...yum.

Incidentally, the biggest shock so far in Mumbai was finding a supermarket with a Waitrose section...and as for viagra, I'm sure you only use it to get rid of the jet lag - must be awful, that 2 or 3 hour time difference...
