Without a great loss in points you cannot get AMEX points into a US account. You can however transfer AMEX MR points to the following airlines that are in the Star Alliance with US and then redeem a Star Alliance award for travel on US or any other Star partner:

ANA
AC (Air Canada)

Make sure to check award availability before you actually transfer the miles!!!!
