I'm flying with my 3 -y.o. AMS to ATL and I'd like to bring her water bottle (pink plastic) to use on the plane... but it could be quite traumatic if they take it away at security. I read on another thread that someone had an empty water bottle confiscated at AMS a couple of weeks ago... anyone have any experience with a bottle of this type (i.e. not just a re-used bottle bottled water bottle)?

At AMS the security for American flights is right at the gate, so no chance to buy some appropriate bottle after security.

(Maybe I should just dig out the sippy cups, they wouldn't take those away... surely... )
